A really nice breakfast/brunch spot in Lethbridge:) I’ve been here a handful of times but I haven’t been here in a while so I tried the Cheesecake Waffle (as recommended by the cashier) with the raspberry option for the first time. It was delightful, and quite filling! A bit pricey, but you’re paying for the beautiful atmosphere of the coffee shop (that I forgot to take a pic of). I also ordered the flat white, which was made to perfection. As a former barista, I can appreciate how Sonder crafts consistently well made drinks. Although, I do find their espresso bitter for my taste.
I love the spinning chairs, but it doesn’t get five star atmosphere because they don’t have a TV or an aquarium or something cool like that. The service was super kind. The food was super sweet and the Italian soda was too. I recommend the Italian soda. The waffles were fluffy how I like them. The Italian soda was a little bit more fizzy than regular soda. Stumbled upon this based on high Google reviews. Recommend! Soft and crispy and flavorful Belgium waffles. Latte was good. Beans are on the bitter side, so if you like a sweeter drink, add a wee bit more sugar. Decent priced, good portions. Free street parking around the corner. Convenient location. Easy to find.
I've come here several times recently after falling in love with their delicious waffles! I have tried the strawberry cheesecake, peaches and cream, and the Brie and pesto waffle–which is definitely my favourite! They also have delicious baked goods and a cozy coffee shop vibe. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
Sonder's offers delicious waffles and a fun atmosphere for brunch. My personal favourites are the Lemon curd and blueberry waffle and the bacon and brie waffle with pesto and tomatoes for a more savoury option. I am always happy after eating the waffles at Sonder Coffee Bar!
We have some great options for coffee shops in Lethbridge, but Sonder is my favourite. Really well made drinks, amazing waffles if you're looking for food, and a good amount of seating. Coffee roast style is personal preference, but Sonder nails it for me. The only thing that would make them better would be a better location. I wish they were downtown.
I sat outside on the shade in thier little patio area beside the building. Great place to just sit and relax with my my iced vanilla Latte. It was a perk that my to go cup claims compost ability!
